Level A1: This level has two parts, in which the students are taught about French basics from the Alphabet and pronunciation of words to sentence formation in different tenses. At the end of this level, students will be in a position to engage in basic communication.

Level A2: This level has two parts, in which the students are taught a higher level in grammar in which the stress is more on grammar and the usage of grammar information of complex sentences. The stress is also more on reading the text and listening where students will be trained to understand conversations in different situations. At the end of this level, students will be in a position to write general and formal mails or letters.

How are accents different in french languages

  • In French language the accents plays a very important role, as without understanding these accents it is not possible to understand or pronounce the word. In French language grammar accents are placed on vowels due to which the pronunciation and the meaning changes.
  • In French grammar a “e” without any accent is called as muet “e”. as it will not be pronounced.
  • There are three different accents used in French accents, They are acute ( ‘ ), grave (` ) , and circumflex ( ^ ).
  • Other Orthogaphic signs are Cedilla (,) and Diaeresis ortrema is a two dot .. is placed over e,I,u to denote that they are to be sounded as a separate syllable.
  • In French grammar you will come across “ce and “ae which are called as ligatures which takes the similar meaning of dipthong ( when two vowel sound join together). It will read as “e dans l’o” = “e in the o” .

What is test de francais international TFI?

The TFI test evaluates the French-language listening and reading proficiency levels of people whose native language is not French. Test results show how well people can communicate in French in business and academic environments. This test is for people whose native language is not French.
